Overview


Each AR arcade blends classic board game mechanics with immersive spatial design. Users interact with familiar games in a 3D environment where the physical and virtual worlds come together. The experience feels nostalgic yet fresh, turning traditional gameplay into something dynamic and engaging. These arcades are designed to push boundaries and show how playful design can bridge the gap between the past and the future of gaming.



Arcade 1: Goldfish Scooping



Goldfish scooping, also known as "Kingyo Sukui" in Japanese, is a traditional Japanese game that is often played at summer festivals, known as "matsuri".  The game involves players using a special scooper, usually made of a delicate paper-like material called "washi," to catch goldfish from a pool. Please help Mr. Meow. He is hangry.😾

Creating and rigging AR assets using Blender. Integrate the CoreMotion API into the app to test how many degrees the phone should be flipped to register as plus one count for the player.
